3. SOR-RL Residential Licensing User Guide Related to System Enhancements resulting from CYFSA Regulation Amendments
This user guide provides an overview of the new functionality in SOR-RL related to the new and enhanced regulatory requirements as part of amendments under O. Reg. 156/18 and O. Reg. 155/18 of the Child, Youth and Family Services Act (CYFSA), 2017 (CYFSA), which came into effect July 1st, 2023. This guide assists users in performing functions in the system related to the enhancements.

As of March 28, 2022, licensees and applicants for a new license must complete this additional information and upload it as a supporting document to SOR-RL as part of the renewal or new application.
